This one of a kind double strand necklace is dedicated to the Fishes and the Mermaids, who remind us that there are entire worlds beneath the surface that we cannot see, so may we keep our minds open and our waters clean!
Both strands are strung with Czech Glass seed beads and freshwater pearls. The longer strand features a brass praying centerpiece Milagro from Mexico City, combined with six brass Mermaids from the city of Puebla, Mexico, all from my travels. The shorter strand features delightful peach colored freshwater pearls in the shape of fish, with an additional two fish dangling on the lower strand.
The total length of the shorter strand is 18 inches, with the lower strand hanging below it. Both strands are connected with a brass lobster clasp and 2 inch extender chain capped with a freshwater pearl.
What would a Mermaid wear?
