This piece is mixed media, a combination of acrylic and fine art paper on 3/4" cradled Ampersand Claybord. His tail, along with the sea plants and flowers, are various cut handmade art papers, which I attach and mingle with the paint to create texture and depth, then seal with a UV gloss.
I've included a short video next to the finished piece to give you an idea of the process! As I was finishing the painting, it came to me in meditation that he is indeed my spiritual protector, and that's how he got his name.

While I do not offer refunds, I do offer store credit within 14 days of receipt if you feel you'd like to exchange it for another piece. Please contact me first within 7 days after receipt, and then return the piece, in the same condition, in it's original packaging, within the next 7 days after that. You are responsible for return shipping, and please include tracking. Once received in the same condition it was sent, I will put your full purchase price towards any item you choose in the future.
